Ethan Sellars is the creative driving force behind Eyes of July, a Columbus, Ohio-based production company established in 2019. Our mission is to craft exceptional photo and video content that empowers brands to captivate their audience through compelling visual storytelling.

Ethan’s journey into photography began during his first year at the Savannah College of Art and Design. A serendipitous camera purchase ignited a passion that transformed his perspective. He discovered a canvas in the world, capturing fleeting moments and weaving them into enduring stories through his lens. Instagram became his platform to share his unique vision.

After graduating with a BFA in Film and Television, Ethan swiftly transitioned into a freelance career, building a strong photography and videography reputation within the Savannah community. His skill set further expanded through art assistant roles on major motion pictures such as The Legend of Zelda (Z), Gifted, Baywatch, and Gemini Man. On the set of Galveston, Ethan contributed significantly by capturing behind-the-scenes footage and conducting exclusive interviews. His consistent dedication and talent have been invaluable to every project.

Upon relocating to Columbus, Ethan immersed himself in the local creative scene, building strong relationships with various companies through freelance projects. His talent quickly caught the attention of Coastal Ridge Real Estate, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing their online presence with engaging video content. Simultaneously, he embarked on an eight-month national tour creating video content for the ASH dance competition. His expertise led him to a leadership position at Big Lots, where he helped build and lead the in-house video production team. From concept to completion, Ethan oversaw commercial production, created engaging social media content, and solidified the brand’s visual identity.

Now, back in the freelance world, Ethan is eager to bring his creative vision to new projects. Eyes of July specializes in product branding, fashion photography, and a comprehensive range of photography, videography, and drone services.
